Classes Help New Parents Prepare |
C.R.A.D.L.E. (Childbirth Realities
And Developing Life Education) is comprised of OB/GYN nurses dedicated
to the concept of preparing for new life and birth through pregnancy
education and the pursuit of relaxation techniques to fully prepare for
childbirth.
Currently we have an established curriculum of prepared childbirth
classes that includes four weekly sessions of two-and-a-half hours in
duration. Sessions cover such topics as nutrition, exercise, warning
signs of trouble with the pregnancy, the labor process and relaxation
and comfort techniques, with some easy breathing patterns to prepare for
childbirth. The series includes videos and a tour of the OSF St. Francis
Hospital OB/Nursery Department.
Cost for C.R.A.D.L.E. classes is $35 per
couple.
