Wound Care

Wound care management is an important step into healing wounds and preventing further ones from happening. OSF Rehabilitation Services provides wound care for venous stasis ulcers, diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, traumatic wounds and burns. We also address patient education such as with diabetic foot care. Edema control and dressing changes at home, if needed. Providing the appropriate care is important to avoid further complications such as osteomyelitis, amputation, sepsis, and infection.
