Gynecology

Gynecology is general women's health care beginning in adolescence and continuing through a woman's life. Gynecologic care includes family planning, treating urinary incontinence, cancer screenings such as pap tests and mammography, treatment of menopause and much more. The board certified obstetrician/gynecologists at the OSF St. Francis Women's Center also have specialized training in surgical procedures involving women's reproductive organs - including alternatives to hysterectomy - as well as for correcting urinary incontinence, sexual function issues and abnormal bleeding. We care for the whole woman, from her onset with a menstrual cycle, to well after her completion of menopause.
