OSF St. Francis Welcomes New Family Medicine Physician
OSF St. Francis Hospital & Medical Group is pleased to announce the addition of Lisa Knauf-Jorasz, DO, board certified family medicine physician, to the OSF St. Francis Medical Group. Dr. Knauf-Jorasz will begin seeing patients in October. She has previously been on staff with Dickinson County Health System, located at Cedar Hill Medical.
A graduate of Bark River-Harris High School, Dr. Knauf-Jorasz earned her bachelor's degree at St. Norbert College, DePere, WI, and doctor of osteopathic medicine from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kirksville, MO.
She completed her family medicine residency at Marquette General Hospital. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, Michigan Osteopathic Association, American Medical Association and American Academy of Family Physicians.
She and her husband, John, live in Bark River with their daughter, Zoey, age 2, and are expecting their second child in the fall. Born in Alabama but raised in Bark River, Dr. Knauf-Jorasz said she was drawn to practice medicine in the Upper Peninsula because of the friendly people and a desire to return home, close to family and friends.
Within her practice she will see patients of all ages for general family medicine issues. New patients are welcome. Appointments may be made by calling the OSF St. Francis Medical Group offices at (906) 786-5707, x37200, or toll-free at 1-800-786-2040, x37200.
